
Diana Gonçalves
ULS São João
General Surgeon specialized in breast surgery, including oncological and oncoplastic procedures. She is part of the Breast Center / Integrated Responsibility Center for Breast Pathology at São João University Hospital Center (ULS S. João), combining surgical practice with academic activity and clinical research. She has been a speaker at multiple scientific meetings on breast pathology, addressing malignant and benign disease, locoregional recurrence, intraoperative breast ultrasound, and ambulatory surgery. In 2016, she completed an International Fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (New York, USA) in the Breast Service under Dr. Monica Morrow, and in the Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery Service under Dr. William Jarnagin. She is pursuing a Doctoral Program in Medicine and Molecular Oncology, with a thesis on Evaluation of Local Recurrences after Breast-Conserving Surgery – ReLoCC Registry.
